Kibirkstis (3-0) defeated the defending champions TTT Riga (1-1) 80-65 at home in a highly anticipated clash of league favorites. Kibirkstis started strong, storming to an 18-2 lead, but TTT Riga rallied to close the gap by the end of the first quarter (28-26). The second quarter saw a shift in momentum as TTT Riga took control, heading into halftime with a 34-41 lead.

Kibirkstis Vilnius had a dominant opening week with two victories. First, they triumphed 78-65 over Neptunas-Amberton Klaipeda, powered by Sydney Taylor’s 31 points and Giedre Labuckiene’s 21 points and 10 rebounds. Labuckiene also earned one of the highest efficiency ratings of the week with 35 points.

Neptunas-Amberton Klaipeda has won their second game in the Biosil-WBBL quarterfinals, defeating the Liepaja/LSSS team 67:53 (17:11, 15:14, 17:18, 18:10) at home. The Klaipeda team won both the first (82:60) and second games against the Liepaja team with confidence and secured a ticket to the Final Four of the Biosil-WBBL.

The reigning champion, TTT-Riga, dominated the regular season, going undefeated and securing the first place. Over the last eight days, the Riga team played five games and emerged victorious in all of them.

The game remained intriguing until the final moments, with Liepaja converting missed free throws into offensive rebounds and managing to maintain a narrow lead.

Over a week, 7 matches took place in the WBBL championship. The week began and ended with two very intense matches involving the recently victorious Kibirkstis. Nonetheless, the Vilnius club lost both of the significant matches.

The Betsafe-WBBL saw a busy week of action, with 11 games played. The leaders, TTT-Riga, won two games, as did Liepaja/LSSS, and the Kibirkstis Vilnius team that has undergone some major changes.

Six games were played in the Betsafe-WBBL league this week, after which the teams will have a short break due to the start of the national team break. Only one team, LCC International University, recorded two wins this week. The first victory was won in the Klaipėda derby when they beat Neptunas-Amberton surprisingly convincingly 69:49.
