The Biosil-WBBL regular season has concluded, and the top teams are gearing up for the fight for the championship title.
The reigning champion, TTT-Riga, dominated the regular season, going undefeated and securing the first place. Over the last eight days, the Riga team played five games and emerged victorious in all of them.
Their winning streak included a notable triumph over Liepaja/LSSS (95:68), followed by overwhelming wins against TTT-Juniores (102:44), Riga Juniores/LU (100:34), and Daugavpils University (82:60).
A closer match was anticipated in the final game against Klaipeda's Neptunas-Amberton, especially after Neptunas-Amberton's recent victory in the Lithuanian Queen's Cup tournament. However, TTT-Riga maintained their composure to win convincingly (73:53).
Ieva Pulvere stood out with 19 points, leading the charge alongside four of her teammates who scored in double digits - a feat unmatched by any player from the Klaipeda team.
LCC International University Klaipeda finished the regular season in second place, followed by Neptunas-Amberton in third. Both teams achieved 18 wins and suffered 4 losses.
The quarterfinals will see LCC International University face Aistes-LSMU Kaunas, while Neptunas-Amberton will battle Liepaja/LSSS.
