The most important event of the 2023-2024 BioSil-WBBL season, the Final Four, will take place on March 29-30 at the Palanga Arena, with the final game to be broadcast live on Lithuanian channel TV6.

BioSil-WBBL director Alvydas Jocys says that the choice of venue for the decisive battles was natural.

"This season has seen remarkable performances from both Klaipeda teams, Neptunas-Amberton and LCC International University. While they may still face the hurdle of the quarterfinals, there is a strong likelihood that both teams will advance to the Final Four," explained Jocys. "The Klaipeda derby has been a highlight of the season, drawing a crowd of over 900 spectators on one occasion. Therefore, selecting nearby Palanga as the venue for the Final Four was a natural choice."

Jocys also anticipated the participation of defending champions TTT-Riga, who are dominating their opponents even in the FIBA EuroCup.

"I do not doubt that fans will witness fiercely contested, high-level basketball matches in the Final Four. We will spare no effort in ensuring that the sporting spectacle is complemented by additional entertainment, turning the event into a grand celebration. I invite everyone to mark March 29-30 on their calendars and visit Palanga," urged Jocys.

It has been confirmed that Lithuanian channel TV6 will broadcast the BioSil-WBBL Final live, further amplifying the reach and excitement surrounding the Final Four.

"The league is growing stronger and has much to offer to basketball fans. We are proud to partner with TV6, which will also broadcast the final of the Lithuanian SMART WAY Queen's Cup this year," remarked Jocys.

In the current standings of the BioSil-WBBL championship, Neptunas-Amberton (16-3) and LCC International University (15-3) lead the pack based on points earned. A step below is TTT-Riga, which has won all 14 games, followed by Kibirkstis Vilnius (13-5) and Siauliai-Vilmers (12-6).

With the regular season's conclusion, the team securing the top spot automatically earns a ticket to the Final Four, while teams ranking from 2nd to 7th will compete in the quarterfinals to secure their spot in the event.
