The Biosil-WBBL championship saw another exciting week of action with 9 games played and 7 teams claiming victories.

In the Klaipeda derby, Neptunas-Amberton put on a dominant display to defeat LCC International University 72:58 on their home court. Marina Solopova (20 points) and Ruta Stipra (19) were unstoppable for the winners, leading them to a comfortable victory. Despite a double-double (15 points and 13 rebounds) from Maiara Dias, the home team could not find a way to overcome the deficit.

Neptunas-Amberton continued their impressive run of form with an 85:56 home win over Panevėžys. This victory marked their 11th consecutive win in the league.

LCC International University had a successful end of the week, winning two away games in Riga. They first defeated BJBS Riga Juniores/LU 94:50, before following it up with a 103:31 victory over TTT Juniores.

Sensational Upset

Siauliai-Vilmers pulled off the biggest upset of the week when they defeated championship contenders Kibirkstis (72:57), who had recently appointed Egidijus Zenevicius as their new head coach.

Siauliai-Vilmers controlled the game from start to finish, never giving the visitors a chance to get into the contest. Five of their players scored in double figures, with Malia Bambrick (18), Danguolė Pupkeviciute (15), and Valeria Aleksieva (14) leading the way. Cassidy Mihalko, the team's leading scorer, had a relatively quiet game by her standards, but still contributed 10 points and 10 rebounds.

The win was a major boost for Siauliai-Vilmers, who moved up to fourth place in the standings. Kibirkstis, on the other hand, dropped to fifth place as a result of the defeat.

Defending champions TTT-Riga maintained their perfect record for the season with a 96:51 victory over LSMU-Aistes in Kaunas. This was their 15th consecutive win in the league.

Liepaja/LSSS Strengthen Playoff Hopes

With the regular season nearing its conclusion, the battle for the last playoff spots is heating up.

Liepaja/LSSS strengthened their hopes with a 72:65 away win over Panevezys. The win moved them up to sixth place in the standings, with just four games remaining in the regular season.

Meanwhile, RSU kept pace with the other teams with a 64:52 home win over Daugavpils University. The win puts them just one game behind LSMU-Aistes in the standings.

In the final game of the week, BJBS Riga Juniores/LU claimed their third win of the season with an 86:58 victory over TTT Juniores in the Riga youth derby.
