The second week of the Biosil-WBBL championship featured five exciting games.
In Division A, LCC International University delivered a strong performance against SBK Liepaja/LSSS, winning decisively with a score of 104-51. From the start, the Klaipeda team dominated, allowing them to distribute playing time across all 11 players. Gabija Meskonyte led the scoring with 20 points, followed by Dominyka Paliulyte with 16 and Gerda Raulusaityte with 15. For the home team, Enija Kivite scored 14 points, and Estere Petrus added 10.
In another matchup, RSU secured their first victory of the season by defeating TSA/CITYTEED Tallinn 71-61. Sarlote Petersone was instrumental in the win, scoring 24 points. Liza Cumika contributed 15 points, while Anete Bluma added 14.
After two weeks of competition, LCC International University and Kibirkstis Vilnius sit at the top of the A division with two wins each, while TTT-Riga, RSU, and SBK Liepaja/LSSS have each won once.
In Division B, Daugavpils University continued their strong start by defeating league debutants Uniclub Bet-Oaks Vilnius 98-83, securing their second victory.
Daugavpils University started strong with a 12-2 run but faced a brief challenge as the Vilnius team equalized at 19-19. Uniclub Bet-Oaks managed to take a short-lived lead at 35-34 in the second quarter, but Daugavpils University regained control and maintained their advantage until the end.
Valerija Baranovska led Daugavpils University with 25 points, supported by Ksenija Petrova (21), Eliza Poisa (19), and Tamirise Simonova (14). Alma Lekeviciute-Kriuniene led the Vilnius side with 23 points, and Gitana Paplauskaite added a notable double-double with 15 points and 15 rebounds.
The remaining two matches showcased more one-sided contests. TTT Riga Juniors overwhelmed Atletas Kaunas reg. with a 135-35 victory, while Aistes-LSMU defeated Panevezys 104-60.
A standout performance came from Aistes-LSMU's Santa Okockyte, who scored an impressive 47 points, along with 5 rebounds and 6 assists. This performance marked one of the most remarkable individual displays in Biosil-WBBL history.
