LCC International University defeated Neptūnas-Amberton 62:52 (9:13, 18:14, 17:18, 18:7) in the second semi-final of the Biosil-WBBL to advance to the final, where they will face defending champions TTT-Riga.
Both teams started the game with a strong defensive effort, and LCC International University led 6-0 after 3 minutes.
Neptunas-Amberton then found their offensive rhythm and took a 13-9 lead after the first quarter. They extended their lead to 20-9 in the second quarter, but LCC International University fought back to tie the game at 27-27 at halftime.
In the middle of the fourth quarter, LCC International University went on a 10-0 run to take a 59-48 lead. Neptunas-Amberton was unable to recover, and LCC International University held on for the win.
The final between LCC International University and TTT-Riga will take place on Saturday at 16:05. Neptūnas-Amberton will face Vilnius Kibirkstis in the third-place game at 13:15.
