Two more teams started the Biosil-WBBL quarterfinals with victories on the road. Neptunas-Amberton Klaipeda defeated Liepaja/LSSS 82:60 (25:15, 18:16, 22:10, 17:19), while Kibirkstis Vilnius beat Siauliai-Vilmers 85:72 (28:24, 20:16, 18:6, 19:26).
In both games, the winners could have had a much larger lead. Neptunas-Amberton led 80:50, but the Liepaja team played better in the last minutes and reduced the deficit to 22 points.
In Siauliai, the guests led by 19 points (79:60) in the middle of the fourth quarter, but the hosts made a 9-0 run and got a bit closer to the opponents.
The second games will be played in Klaipeda on March 22 and in Vilnius on March 23. The teams with the better point difference will advance to the Final Four.
