The playoff stage of the Biosil-WBBL tipped off with a bang as LCC International University Klaipeda traveled to Kaunas and secured a commanding 80-60 win against Aistes-LSMU Kaunas in the first game of the quarterfinal series. The rematch is scheduled for March 21 in the Lithuanian port city.

From the opening minutes, the visiting team made it clear they were not there to play around. They quickly took control of the game, racing to a 19-4 lead within the first few moments. In the beginning of the second quarter, the gap had widened to 26 points (34-8), signaling a tough road ahead for the Kaunas team.

Despite a valiant effort to close the gap in the third quarter, bringing the score to 35-48, Aistes-LSMU couldn't sustain the momentum against the LCC International University squad. By the fourth quarter, LCC had expanded their lead to 29 points (72:43), showcasing their dominance on the court.

Leading the charge for LCC International University was Elizabete Bulane with 18 points, followed closely by Gerda Raulusaityte with 17 points. Dominyka Paliulyte made a significant contribution with 14 points, 8 assists, and 9 rebounds, demonstrating her all-around game. Lina Loceniece added 13 points to the tally, with Maiara Dias and Maisa Dias contributing 9 and 5 points, respectively. Polina Korbut and Kateryna Dike each chipped in with 2 points to round off the team's scoring.

On the opposing side, Aistes-LSMU was led by Gintare Paulauskaite with 14 points and Gintare Mazionyte with 13 points. Auste Jureviciute managed to score 10 points, while Gedvile Savostaite and Livija Kaktaite contributed 9 and 8 points, respectively. Guste Dziatkauskaite and Gabriele Sedereviciute both added 3 points to their team's effort.
