The game started with a field goal by Latvian Evelina Otto, but Kibirkstis responded with 8 consecutive points and showed that they were ready to challenge the favorites. However, TTT-Riga soon followed with an impressive 17-2 run to win the quarter 19-10.

In the middle of the second quarter, the Riga team lost point guard Kyra Lambert to an injury. Lambert had already dished out 5 assists in 13 minutes of play. However, this did not derail the Latvian team. The champions firmly held the lead in their hands and extended it to 15 points (58-43) in the third quarter.

The lead grew even larger in the fourth quarter, and Kibirkstis was only able to reduce it slightly at the end of the game.

On Saturday, TTT-Riga will face the winner of the second semifinal between the two Klaipeda teams - LCC International University and Neptunas-Amberton - in the final of the tournament.

The team that loses the Klaipeda derby will meet Kibirkstis in the third-place game.
