Top teams showcased impressive performances in Week 3 of the BioSil-WBBL Division A. Kibirkstis Vilnius claimed a victory over defending champions TTT Riga, maintaining their unbeaten streak. LCC International University continued their dominance with a blowout win, while Neptunas-Amberton secured their first victory of the season with a stellar defensive display.

Kibirkstis (3-0) defeated the defending champions TTT Riga (1-1) 80-65 at home in a highly anticipated clash of league favorites.

Kibirkstis started strong, storming to an 18-2 lead, but TTT Riga rallied to close the gap by the end of the first quarter (28-26). The second quarter saw a shift in momentum as TTT Riga took control, heading into halftime with a 34-41 lead.

However, a third-quarter comeback, sparked by Sydney Taylor’s leadership, allowed Kibirkstis to regain the advantage (53-49). Elisa Policari’s two crucial three-pointers helped the team pull away with an 11-0 run, securing a confident victory.

Taylor was the top scorer for Kibirkštis, contributing 25 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 steals in 27 minutes. Team captain Giedre Labuckiene also shone with 13 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 assists.

On the other side, TTT Riga’s Mia Faye Loyd delivered an outstanding 32-point performance, hitting 15/15 free throws, but it wasn’t enough to overturn the deficit.

This win marked the first time Kibirkstis had defeated TTT Riga since their nail-biting 66-64 victory on January 20, 2023.

In another game, Klaipeda’s LCC International University (3-0) continued their unbeaten run, securing a commanding 96-52 win over Tallinn's TSA/CITYTEED (0-2).

Hosts' dominant performance was driven by three-point shooting, sinking 13 of 35 attempts compared to Tallinn’s 3 of 20.

Gerda Raulusaityte led the home team with 19 points and 6 rebounds, while Vilte Andrunaviciute contributed 21 points and 4 assists. Tallinn’s standout was Laura Liisa Grunmann, who scored 11 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.

Finally, Neptunas-Amberton Klaipeda (1-1) claimed their first win of the season with a 79-33 win against SBK Liepaja/LSSS (1-2).

Neptunas-Amberton's defense held Liepaja/LSSS scoreless in the third quarter, forcing missed shots and turnovers.

Ruta Stipra led the team with 14 points and 4 rebounds, while Urte Cizauskaite made her return from a knee injury, grabbing 7 rebounds in 12.5 minutes of play. Liepaja’s top performer was Marta Kaupmane, who posted 8 points and 6 rebounds.
