The latest week in the Biosil-Women's Baltic Basketball League (WBBL) was nothing short of drama, with the final lineup of playoff participants now firmly in place. The highlight of the week was the intense battles that saw Aistes-LSMU Kaunas secure their spot among the top seven, leaving last season's bronze medalists, RSU, on the outside looking in.
2024-02-12
The Biosil-WBBL saw six games played over the past week, with the quarterfinal picture starting to take shape. Liepaja/LSSS earned a vital victory in their quest for a top-7 finish and a playoff spot, defeating RSU 68:61 at home. The game remained intriguing until the final moments, with Liepaja converting missed free throws into offensive rebounds and managing to maintain a narrow lead.
2023-11-06
Six games were played in the Betsafe-WBBL league this week, after which the teams will have a short break due to the start of the national team break. Only one team, LCC International University, recorded two wins this week. The first victory was won in the Klaipėda derby when they beat Neptunas-Amberton surprisingly convincingly 69:49.
2023-10-17
This time, TTT-Riga defeated RSU 73:55 (22:12, 17:12, 20:10, 24:11), but demonstrated its superiority only in the second part of the game. RSU started the game strongly, leading 28:12 in the second quarter. However, RSU players got stuck, and a few minutes later, the teams were separated by only 3 points (32:29).

Gabija Meškonytė, with 21 points and 8 rebounds, and Evelina Otto, with 15 points and 9 rebounds, were the top performers for the winners. Among the hosts, Kinga Piedel stood out the most, scoring 23 points.
