Week 3 of the BioSil-WBBL Division B saw Aistes-LSMU (3-0) extend their unbeaten run with two consecutive wins, while Panevezys (1-2) secured a victory over Atletas (1-2).
In their first matchup, Aistes-LSMU triumphed 70-60 against Daugavpils University (2-1) in a hard-fought away game.
The Lithuanian team outperformed their opponents with better ball movement (17 assists vs. 11) and fewer turnovers (10 vs. 18), despite both teams battling evenly in rebounds (50 vs. 53).
Santa Okockyte led Aistes-LSMU with 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Migle Kisarauskaite added 13 points and 8 rebounds.
Daugavpils University’s key player was Eliza Poisa, who scored 18 points and grabbed 4 rebounds but couldn’t prevent her team's first loss of the season.
In their second game of the week, Aistes-LSMU comfortably defeated TTT Juniores (1-1) 82-61 at home.
The Kaunas team started strong, establishing a 23-8 lead by the end of the first quarter and forcing TTT Juniores into 34 turnovers.
Gintare Paulauskaite had an all-around performance, scoring 18 points, grabbing 10 rebounds, and dishing out 4 assists. TTT Juniores’ top performer was Liva Hermane, who contributed 7 points and 5 assists in the losing effort.
Meanwhile, Panevezys dominated Atletas with a 118-52 victory on the road.
The difference in quality was clear from the start, allowing Panevezys to rotate their squad, with seven players reaching double digits.
Kamile Zukaite led the scoring with 29 points, while Justina Oficerovaite and Gabriele Sulske added 17 points each.
For Atletas, Gabriele Vaisnoraite and Migle Mackeviciute each scored 10 points, but their efforts couldn’t narrow the gap against the Panevezys squad.
