In this week’s BioSil-WBBL action, three games unfolded, leaving Kibirkstis as the only unbeaten team in Division A.

The highlight of the week was the much-anticipated clash in Klaipeda between two undefeated teams: LCC International University and Kibirkstis Vilnius. Kibirkstis quickly surged to a 15-3 lead, controlling the tempo nearly the entire game and securing a 101-88 victory.

LCC mounted a comeback to briefly take a 31-30 lead, but Kibirkstis responded strongly to close the first half up 50-40 and held the advantage until the final whistle.

Kibirkstis dominated the boards (45 rebounds to LCC's 27) and showcased superior ball movement (28 assists to 17).

Giedre Labuckiene led the visitors with a remarkable performance, tallying 26 points in 25 minutes, along with 10 rebounds, 2 assists, and 8 drawn fouls, totaling 38 efficiency points. Sydney Taylor topped the scoring with 27 points in 28 minutes, adding 3 rebounds and 7 assists. Daugile Use contributed 15 points, while Alexis Pana added 10.

For LCC International University, Elizabete Bulane had a strong performance with 22 points in 28 minutes, Gabija Meskonyte added 19, while Dominyka Paliulyte and Gerda Raulusaityte scored 12 and 10 points, respectively.

In Tallinn, TSA/CITYTEED hosted their first home game, but it was Neptunas-Amberton who took control, winning 83-63. Neptunas-Amberton ended the first quarter on a 20-0 run, setting a decisive lead early on.

Egle Sventoraite led Neptunas-Amberton with 19 points in just 15 minutes, shooting 8/9 from the field and grabbing 7 rebounds. Taylor Murray’s contribution was notable, with 7 points, 5 assists, and a remarkable 10 steals, totaling 22 efficiency points. Urte Cizauskaite added 12 points and 8 rebounds.

Janne Pulk led TSA/CITYTEED with 17 points, with Sofia Kosareva adding 11.

In Division B, Panevezys claimed an 84-55 win over Uniclub Bet-Oaks in Vilnius. Kriste Timofejeva powered Panevezys with 22 points and 11 rebounds, while Urte Bukauskaite added 16 points, Justina Oficerovaite scored 13, and Agnese Garčinskaitė contributed 10.

For Uniclub Bet-Oaks, Emilija Mikoliunaite scored 14 points, and Ausrine Belickaite added 13.

These three games conclude the first month of competition in the BioSil-WBBL. The league now enters a break for national team play, with teams set to return to the court on October 10, when the Latvian U16 team hosts Panevezys.
