The decisive battles of the BioSil-WBBL season will unfold in two Latvian cities, as Riga and Daugavpils prepare to host the highly anticipated Final Four tournaments.
Riga has been selected as the host city for the Division A Final Four, with the Rimi Olympic Centre set to stage the crucial games on April 5th and 6th.
Meanwhile, Daugavpils will welcome the Division B Final Four on March 29-30. Regular-season winners Aistes-LSMU Kaunas have secured their spot in the tournament, while the remaining participants are still battling it out in the quarterfinal series.
The schedule for the Daugavpils Final Four has already been confirmed. The semi-final games will be played on March 29th at 14:00 and 17:00. On March 30th, the third-place game will tip off at 13:00, followed by the final at 16:00.
Director of Latvian women’s basketball league, Liga Goldmane, shared her excitement: "It's a great pleasure to organize the Final Four tournaments in Latvia after a break of several years. We'll start in Daugavpils with the B Division Finals, and a week later, we'll determine the A Division Champions in Riga. I'd like to extend a big thank you to the Latvian Basketball Association for their support in organizing the Final Fours. This season has seen the emergence of new team leaders, and many players have shown significant improvement. With several teams strengthening their rosters towards the end of the season, I believe the finals will be very exciting and engaging."
