All four leading teams in the Biosil-WBBL A Division secured victories this week, though some were harder-fought than others.

Undefeated Kibirkstis Vilnius continued their dominant run with a 95-56 win over RSU in Riga. Second-placed Neptunas-Amberton defeated Siauliai-Vilmers 91-76 at home, while third-placed LCC International University triumphed 95-55 over TSA/CITYTEED in Tallinn.

Defending champions TTT Riga had the toughest challenge, narrowly escaping with a 78-73 victory over Liepaja/LSSS at home. Mia Loyd was the hero for TTT Riga, putting on a scoring clinic with 46 points and 11 rebounds. The American guard made 17 of 23 two-point attempts, 1 of 4 three-pointers, and 9 of 13 free throws, finishing with an impressive 48 efficiency rating points. No other TTT Riga player reached double figures in scoring.

Enija Kivite (18 points) and Estere Petrus (13 points) led Liepaja/LSSS, who came close to pulling off an upset.

In Division B, TTT Riga Juniors edged Daugavpils University 63-60 in a thrilling contest. TTT Riga Juniors took the lead in the third quarter and held on despite a late surge from Daugavpils.

Emilija Trofimenko scored 20 points for TTT Riga Juniors, while Liva Hermane added 14.

Arita Baltace, who received the Biosil-WBBL B Division Player of the Month award before the game, and Tamirise Simonova each scored 18 points for Daugavpils University.

In other Division B action, Aistes-LSMU Kaunas dominated Uniclub Bet-Oaks Vilnius 133-42, and Panevezys defeated Atletas Kaunas r. 107-52.
